Sunomata (墨俣町, Sunomata-chō) was a town located in Anpachi District, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 4,652 and a density of 1,372.39 persons per km². The total area was 3.39 km². On March 27, 2006, Sunomata, along with the town of Kamiishizu (from Yōrō District), was merged into the expanded city of Ōgaki.

墨俣町（すのまたちょう）は、かつて岐阜県安八郡にあった町である。 永禄10年（1567年）の織田信長による美濃攻めの際、家臣であった木下藤吉郎（のちの豊臣秀吉）が一夜にして城を築いたという故事「墨俣一夜城」で知られる。2006年（平成18年）3月27日に養老郡上石津町とともに大垣市に編入された。編入後は大垣市の地域自治区「墨俣町地域自治区」となっている。
