Die UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI), deutsch: Prinzipien für verantwortliches Investieren (UNPRI), sind eine 2006 gegründete Investoreninitiative in Partnerschaft mit der Finanzinitiative des UN-Umweltprogramms UNEP und dem UN Global Compact. The Principles offer a framework of possible actions for incorporating environmental, social and corporate governance factors into investment practices across asset classes. Responsible investment is a process that must be tailored to fit each organisation's investment strategy, approach and resources. The Principles are designed to be compatible with the investment styles of large, diversified, institutional investors that operate within a traditional fiduciary framework. As of March 2022, more than 4,800 signatories from over 80 countries representing approximately US$100 trillion have signed up to the Principles. In some cases, before retaining an investment manager, institutional investors will inquire as to whether the manager is a signatory.

Принципы ответственного инвестирования (англ. Principales for Responsible Investment, PRI) представляют собой комплекс добровольных принципов ответственного инвестирования, разработанных и принятых международными инвесторами с целью минимизации рисков долгосрочного инвестирования посредством включения социальных, экологических и управленческих факторов в инвестиционные стратегии. Крупные институциональные инвесторы, при финансовой поддержке Программы Организации Объединенных Наций по окружающей среде (ЮНЕП), разработали шесть базовых принципов ответственного инвестирования и создали Ассоциацию ответственного инвестирования PRI, занимающуюся внедрением принципов устойчивого развития в повседневную деятельность компаний. Поддерживая эти принципы, компании рассматривают экологические и социальные вопросы, а также вопросы корпоративного управления (Environmental, Social, Governance — ESG) в рамках процесса принятия инвестиционных решений с целью сближения повестки компании с ожиданиями общества.
