Patna Metro is a rapid transit system currently under construction in the city of Patna in Bihar, India. In January 2022, L&T secured the order from metro operator Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the design and construction of the Corridor-2 of Phase-1 of Patna MRTS. L&T classifies this contract worth ₹1,989 crore (US$250 million) as a significant order. The major scope of work for the project comprises six underground metro stations viz, Rajendra Nagar, Moin Ul Haq Stadium, University PMCH, Gandhi Maidan and Akashvani of Corridor-2. YFC – MCL JV will design and construct the elevated viaduct, elevated ramp at Mithapur and Patliputra and seven stations in Corridor-1 at the cost of ₹553 crore (US$69 million).
