وسام الاستحقاق السوري هو وسام تكريمي يصدر بمرسوم عن رئيس الجمهورية العربية السورية يمكن منحه للسوريين وغير السوريين، غايته تقدير الخدمات في مجالات السياسة والدفاع الوطني والعلوم والفنون والاقتصاد والإدارة والتي تؤدى لصالح سوريا والقضية العربية. استحدث في 25 يونيو 1953 وهو من خمس درجات أعلاها الدرجة الممتازة ثم الأولى فالثانية فالثالثة وأخيراً الدرجة الرابعة. كما يمنح لكل رئيس للجمهورية ويحتفظ به حتى بعد انتهاء ولايته الدستورية.

Elle a été créée le 25 juin 1953 par le gouvernement militaire d'Adib Shishakli et comporte cinq classes. Cette décoration reprend la médaille de l'ordre du Mérite syrien, créée le 10 avril 1926 par la commission française en Syrie.

The decoration is awarded for service to the state or to the Arab cause. It has five classes, including the Excellent Class awarded in badge of star; the First Class, awarded in badge or star; the Second Class; the Third Class and the Fourth Class. The Excellent and the First Class are worn on a suit, while the Second Class is worn on a ribbon around the neck. The Third and the Fourth Class are worn on a ribbon on the right side of a chest. The colours of the decoration's ribbon are white-green-white, each represented in equal ratio.
