El castell de Leeds és una fortalesa pertanyent al patrimoni anglès del Regne Unit (English Heritage). Està situat en el municipi de Maidstone (Kent), encara que porta el nom del municipi proper de Leeds. Es wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte nach und nach genutzt als normannische Festung, als Wohnsitz von sechs mittelalterlichen Königinnen, als Palast Heinrichs VIII. und als Zufluchtsort für die Reichen und Mächtigen. In den über 1000 Jahren seines Bestehens hat das Schloss viele Kämpfe überstanden, mächtige Staatsmänner beherbergt und zahlreiche Künstler inspiriert. Heute steht es unter der Leitung der Leeds Castle Foundation und ist jährlich das Ziel vieler Tausender, Erholung suchender Menschen.

Ospitò varie regine (come Eleonora di Castiglia, Isabella di Castiglia, Giovanna di Navarra, Caterina di Valois, Caterina d'Aragona, ecc.), in particolare durante la vedovanza o i divorzi, e tra i suoi frequentatori più famosi annovera anche re Enrico VIII, del quale è stato eretto un busto a grandezza naturale in loco.
