法律ラテン語（ほうりつらてんご、略称はL.L.またはL. Lat.、英: Law Latin）は、法律的な文脈で使われるラテン語の一形態。侮蔑的にen:Dog Latinと呼ばれることもある。一部の語彙はラテン語由来だが、多くの単語や語彙体系は英語由来である。法律ラテン語は、英語やフランス語の混合で構成され、ラテン語の単語を英語の構文に組み込む場合もある。 ジョージ2世の治世まで、イングランドの裁判所で、法律上の意見が法律ラテン語で記録されていた。ジョージ2世の治世中、en:Proceedings in Courts of Justice Act 1730（1733年施行）により、イングランドにおける全ての訴訟の記録をラテン語ではなく英語で作成するように義務付けられた。令状(英語版)、勅許状(英語版)、特許状、の言葉としても使われた。1867年になっても、イングランドやスコットランドで、一部の法的文書で、依然として法律ラテン語が使われた。

Si bien, parte del vocabulario viene del Latín, muchas de las palabras y mucho del vocabulario derivan del Inglés. El Latín Jurídico puede también ser visto como una mezcla de palabras del Inglés, Frances y Latin que suponen la Sintaxis del Inglés. El Latín Jurídico fue el idioma en el cual se registraron los archivos legales de los tribunales ingleses al menos, hasta el reinado de Jorge II. Bajo su reinado, la Ley de Procedimientos en los Tribunales de Justicia de 1730 (vigente a partir de 1733), ordenó que todos los documentos de los procedimientos legales en Inglaterra se hicieran en inglés en lugar de latín. El Latín Jurídico también se usó como el idioma de los Mandamientos judiciales , las cartas reales, Los Documentos de Patentes y muchos otros Documentos de corte judicial. Hasta 1867, El Latín Jurídico Todavía estaba en uso en Inglaterra y en Escocia para algunos instrumentos legales.

Law Latin may also be seen as consisting of a mixture of English, French and Latin words superimposed over an English syntax. Law Latin was the language in which the legal opinions of English courts were recorded at least until the reign of George II. Under his reign, the Proceedings in Courts of Justice Act 1730 (effective from 1733), mandated that all records of legal proceedings in England were to be made in English rather than Latin. Law Latin was also used as the language of writs, royal charters, letters patent and many other legal instruments. As late as 1867, Law Latin was still in use in England and Scotland for some legal instruments.
