Giles Stannus Cooper, OBE (9. srpna 1918 u Dublinu, Irsko – 2. prosince 1966 Surbiton, Spojené království) byl anglo-irský dramatik a plodný rozhlasový dramatik. Pro rozhlas a televizi BBC napsal přes šedesát scénářů a her. V roce 1960 byl oceněn Řádem britského impéria za "Služby pro rozhlas". Na jeho počest byla mezi lety 1978 a 1992 společností BBC a nakladatelstvím Methuen Publishing udílena (Giles Cooper Awards) za rozhlasové hry.

He was awarded the OBE in 1960 for "Services to Broadcasting". A dozen years after his death at only 48 the Giles Cooper Awards for Radio Drama were instituted in his honour, jointly by the BBC and the publishers Eyre Methuen.
