مولفي شيراغ علي (1844-1895) (تنطق أيضاً تشايراغ) هو عالم مسلم هندي من أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. ساهم في مدرسة الحداثيين المسلمين وقدم تفسيرا إصلاحيا حول القرآن كزميل للسيد سيد أحمد خان. ساهم في العديد من الأعمال في مدرسة الحداثيين المسلمين مثل المعرض النقدي للجهاد الشعبي والإصلاحات السياسية والقانونية والاجتماعية المقترحة في ظل الحكم الإسلامي . تميزت تفاعلاته مع المسيحيين في الهند البريطانية أيضًا عُرف بأنه من المناظرين المسلمين المركزين بشكل خاص على حروب محمد. توفي عن عمر يناهز 51 أثناء العلاج، وشيراغ علي مدفون الآن في بومباي.

Moulví Cherágh Ali (1844-1895) (also spelled Chirágh) was an Indian Muslim scholar of the late 19th century. As a colleague of Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan he made a contribution to the school of Muslim Modernists and presented reformative thinking about the Qur'an. He contributed numerous works to the school of Muslim Modernists such as A Critical Exposition of the Popular Jihad and Proposed Political, Legal and Social Reforms Under Moslem Rule. Dying at age 51 during treatment, Cherágh Ali is now buried in Bombay.
