Το «Τελετουργικό του κρεβατιού» ήταν Μεσαιωνικό γαμήλιο έθιμο, στο οποίο το νεόνυμφο ζευγάρι συνοδευόταν στο γαμήλιο κρεβάτι με σκοπό την σεξουαλική συνεύρεση και την συνεπαγόμενη ολοκλήρωση του γάμου. Ο σκοπός του τελετουργικού ήταν να καθιερώσει την ολοκλήρωση του γάμου, είτε με το να παρακολουθούν οι παρόντες την πρώτη σεξουαλική επαφή του ζευγαριού, ή είτε συμβολικά, με την αποχώρηση των μαρτύρων πριν από την ερωτική πράξη. Συμβόλιζε τη συμμετοχή της κοινότητας στο γάμο. Η νομική δεσμευτική φύση της τελετής διέφερε σε μεγάλο βαθμό από τόπο σε τόπο στο διάβα των ετών.
