الاحتجاجات الفنزويلية 2017 هي سلسلة من الاحتجاجات والتظاهرات التي قامت في فنزويلا من مارس 2017 إلى أغسطس 2017 على خلفية اعتقال قادة المعارضة لحكومة الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو، حصل ذلك بعد أن صوت على سحب الثقة من حكومة مادورو على خلفية إتهامات بالفساد وبسبب زيادة معدلات الجريمة في البلاد، لم يستجب مادورو لذلك وقامت الحكومة الفنزويلية باعتقال العديد من المعارضين في البرلمان ما أعتبر عند العديد من الدول من الولايات المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي انقلاب على الشرعية.

The 2017 Venezuelan protests were a series of protests occurring throughout Venezuela. Protests began in January 2017 after the arrest of multiple opposition leaders and the cancellation of dialogue between the opposition and Nicolás Maduro's government. As the tension continued, the 2017 Venezuelan constitutional crisis began in late March when the pro-government Supreme Tribunal of Justice (TSJ) dissolved the opposition-led National Assembly, with the intensity of protests increasing greatly throughout Venezuela following the decision. As April arrived, the protests grew "into the most combative since a wave of unrest in 2014" resulting from the crisis with hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans protesting daily through the month and into May. After failing to prevent the July Constituent Assembly election, the opposition and protests largely lost momentum.

La crisis constitucional de Venezuela de 2017 se produjo por la "ruptura del hilo constitucional" en ese país, a raíz de que el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ) dictara la decisión 156 mediante la cual se atribuye a sí mismo las funciones de la Asamblea Nacional (AN) y extendiera los poderes del presidente Nicolás Maduro, lo cual originó una nueva oleada de protestas. Al momento de darse las sentencias, la reacción de la Asamblea Nacional, así como de varios organismos de la región, fue mayoritariamente negativa. Algunos calificaron dichas acciones como un "autogolpe de Estado" y que se estaba disolviendo a la AN, lo que suscitó protestas en Caracas y otras ciudades del país. En Venezuela, el índice inflacionario correspondiente a este periodo ―según estimaciones privadas― habría sobrepasado el 500 %.Mientras que para inicios del año 2017, en los últimos tres años de gobierno de Nicolás Maduro, en el país habían sido asesinadas 81 334 personas, sumando así 287 926 muertes violentas en el país en el gobierno de la revolución bolivariana. El 27 de abril de 2017 el gobierno de Nicolás Maduro ordena el retiro de Venezuela de la OEA, y las relaciones diplomáticas de Venezuela con los demás países caen a un punto crítico.
