William Lovenstein (October 8, 1840 – December 26, 1896) was a businessman and Democratic politician who served in both houses of the Virginia General Assembly. Lovenstein served in the Virginia Senate for fifteen years before his death and became its president pro tempore during its 1896 session. He remains one of the highest ranking Jewish politicians in Virginia history.
