Walter Francis Layer (March 22, 1907 – April 21, 1965) was an American politician from Pennsylvania who served as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for Delaware County from 1947 to 1948. He served as lieutenant colonel in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and as colonel during the Korean War.
