Vrishabhanu (Sanskrit: वृषभानु; IAST: Vṛṣbhānu) also spelled as Brushabhanu was a distinguished Yadava chieftain. He was the father of goddess Radha who was the incarnation of goddess Lakshmi in Dwapar Yuga. According to Sanskrit scripture Padma Purana, Vrishbhanu was the chief of Barsana and the owner of 10 lakhs cows. Vrishbhanu in his previous life as King Suchandra received a divine boon from Lord Brahma to become the father of Lakshmi in Dvapara Yuga. rdf:langString
