Der Oberleitungsbus Bologna ist ein aus vier Linien bestehendes O-Bussystem in der italienischen Universitätsstadt Bologna. Betrieben wird das seit 1991 bestehende heutige System vom Nahverkehrsunternehmen Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna, welches 2012 aus dem städtischen Verkehrsbetrieb Azienda Trasporti Consorziali di Bologna (ATC) hervorgegangen ist. While being in operation since 1991, the current system comprises five urban routes: 13, 14, 15, 32 and 33. Additional routes are presently under construction. Bologna has had two earlier trolleybus systems. The first one opened in 1940 and lasted only until 1945. The second earlier system, which was more extensive than the present one, opened in 1955 and was closed in 1982. At the time of its maximum extent in the 1960s and 1970s, it had a total of six routes. The current trolleybus network reaches beyond Bologna's territory, extending into the neighbouring municipalities of San Lazzaro di Savena (line 15) and Pianoro (line 13).
