James Anthony Brennan (13 January 1916 – 4 November 1965) was an Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Clonoulty–Rossmore and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team from 1939 until 1953. Brennan is regarded as one of Tipperary's greatest-ever players.
