The Telluride Institute (TI) was founded in 1984 in the resort town of Telluride, Colorado, by John Lifton, Pamela Zoline, John Clute, John Naisbitt and , authors of the Megatrends books, and Amory and Hunter Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute.
