Steve Dasbach is an American politician from Indiana. He served as the 11th chair of the Libertarian National Committee from 1993 to 1998. In 1986, he was the Libertarian Party of Indiana candidate for Indiana's 4th Congressional District U.S. Representative receiving 602 votes for 0.4% of the vote. When activist Steve Kubby was arrested for cannabis offenses, Dasbach advocated dropping the charges. Dasbach served as Jo Jorgensen's campaign manager for her campaign in the 2020 presidential election. Dasbach ran to return to his role as LNC Chair in the 2021 special election, but lost to Whitney Bilyeu. In the first round of ranked-choice voting, he received only one vote of the 16 cast by members of the committee. He was eliminated in the third round, having received no transfer votes. Dasbach ran again for LNC chair at the 2022 Libertarian National Convention, but lost to Angela McArdle in the first round.
