Stephen Baldwin Jr. is a former Democratic member of the West Virginia Senate, representing the 10th district from 2016 to 2022. Following the retirement of Roman Prezioso, Baldwin was selected by the Senate Democratic Caucus to become Minority Leader after the 2020 Senate elections. Baldwin has been the third Senate Minority Leader since the Republicans took the majority in the Senate in 2014. Prior to his appointment to the State Senate, Baldwin represented the 42nd District in the West Virginia House of Delegates, and was a member of the Greenbrier County Board of Education. rdf:langString
