Russell was a federal electoral district in eastern Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1968. The federal riding was created by the British North America Act of 1867, and consisted initially of the County of Russell the townships of Gloucester and Osgoode in the county of Carleton. In 1903, the Rideau Ward of the city of Ottawa was added to the riding. In 1933, it was redefined to consist of the county of Russell and the part of the county of Carleton included in the township of Gloucester, excepting that part of the township of Gloucester included in the town of Eastview and the village of Rockcliffe Park. In 1947, it was expanded to include the town of Eastview in the township of Gloucester in the county of Carleton.
