Rolling Thunder 2 est un jeu vidéo d'action de type run and gun en vue de profil, développé et commercialisé par Namco en 1990 sur borne d'arcade. Le jeu a été adapté sur Mega Drive en 1991. Rolling Thunder 2 is a run and gun arcade game developed and released by Namco for the Namco System 2 hardware in 1991. The game is the sequel to 1986's Rolling Thunder, retaining the same gameplay of its predecessor but adding cooperative gameplay for two players and improved graphics. Unlike the original, which was based in 1968, Rolling Thunder 2 features a more contemporary setting to go along with its more futuristic design, as well as an optionally playable female character. A port for the Sega Genesis was released the same year. Both the Mega Drive port and the original arcade game were released for the Wii Virtual Console on December 4, 2007 and October 27, 2009 respectively.

『ローリングサンダー2』 (Rolling Thunder 2) は、1991年3月に日本のナムコから稼働されたアーケード用アクションシューティングゲーム。 同社の『ローリングサンダー』（1986年）の続編。秘密工作員である主人公を操作し、世界征服を企んでいる犯罪集団「ネオゲルドラ」を壊滅するのを目的としている。前作では捕われの身であったレイラ・ブリッツがプレイヤーとして使用できるようになり、2人同時プレイも可能になった。前作同様にキャラクターの細かいアクションも健在である。ライフ制ではあるが銃弾などの飛び道具に対しては一撃でミスになり、ジャンプ中は攻撃が出来ないなどアクションゲームとしての難易度は高い。 開発はナムコが行い、ディレクターは『パックランド』（1984年）や『ドラゴンセイバー』（1990年）を手掛けた根来司、プログラムは『ファイネストアワー』（1989年）を手掛けた二階堂和行、音楽は後に『リッジレーサー』（1993年）を手掛けた佐宗綾子が担当している。 同年にメガドライブに移植された。その後Wii用ソフトとしてバーチャルコンソールにて、2007年にメガドライブ版、2009年にアーケード版が配信された。その他、Nintendo Switch用ソフト『ナムコミュージアム』（2017年）にはアーケード版が前作と共に収録された。
