Sir Roger Owen (1573 – 29 May 1617) was an English Member of Parliament. He was the eldest son of Thomas Owen of Condover, Shropshire and was educated at Shrewsbury School (1583) and Christ Church, Oxford (awarded B.A. 1592). He trained for the law at Lincoln's Inn (1589) and was called to the bar in 1597. In 1598 he succeeded his father, who had built Condover Hall for him, and was knighted in 1604. rdf:langString
