The song was released as the first single from the Midnight Remember album on 4 June 2010 by Liberation Music in Australia and New Zealand. The song was certified Platinum and later placed at number 2 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2010. The song was used during the opening montage of the "Hope for the Hopeless" episode of Grey's Anatomy (series 8, episode 12).
