The Rhodanic Republic, officially the Republic of Valais (French: République du Valais; German: Republik Wallis) or Vallais, was a sister republic of France that existed between 1802 and 1810 in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, during the Napoleonic Wars, in the territory corresponding with the modern Swiss canton of Valais.

La République rhodanienne, aussi appelée république du Valais, est une des républiques sœurs fondée le 5 septembre 1802 par Napoléon Bonaparte par la séparation du canton du Valais de la République helvétique afin de pouvoir plus facilement contrôler le passage des Alpes. Elle disparait le 13 décembre 1810 lorsque le Valais est annexé à la France dans le département du Simplon. Une première « République rhodanique » ou « Rhodanie » avait été imaginée par le général Brune en 1798 dans le cadre de la partition de la Suisse en trois républiques (les deux autres étant la Tellgovie et l'Helvétie), mais ce projet ne vécut que quelques semaines. Cette république mort-née englobait les cantons de Vaud, du Valais, du Tessin et de Fribourg, et avait pour capitale Lausanne.

Una prima « repubblica rodanica » (république rhodanique) o « Rodania » (Rhodanie) era stata immaginata dal generale Guillaume Brune nel marzo 1798 come parte della divisione della Svizzera in tre repubbliche (le altre due erano Tellgovia ed Elvezia), ma questo progetto fu ipotizzato solo per poche settimane. La repubblica di Rodania avrebbe compreso i cantoni Vaud, Vallese, Ticino e Friburgo, con capitale Losanna, e sarebbe stata divisa in 17 distretti amministrativi, ognuno con un sottoprefetto. Tuttavia, questo progetto venne rapidamente abbandonato. Nel 1798, quando le truppe di Napoleone invasero la Svizzera, la gente del Vallese dichiarò la nascita della Repubblica rivoluzionaria del Vallese (16 marzo) che poco dopo venne incorporata (1º maggio) nella Repubblica elvetica.
