The minister responsible is the Honourable Mark Ryan, Minister for Fire and Emergency Services. QFES is currently led by Commissioner Greg Leach, formerly a member of the Country Fire Authority, Ambulance Victoria and the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (Melbourne).
