The film's producer, Star Cinema Productions Inc. owned by ABS-CBN, borrowed actors Brad Turvey and Edward Mendez, from rival TV network, GMA Artist Center. Due to the strong box-office result of Ang Tanging Ina (2003), the scenes of Ai-Ai delas Alas in the film were extended.
