Peter Alexander Gardere (born September 29, 1969) is a former American football quarterback, famous for his four-year tenure as the Texas Longhorns quarterback in the late 1980s/early 1990s. He is the only starting quarterback on either side of the Texas-Oklahoma football rivalry to win four straight games in the Red River Rivalry.
