Offizieranwärter (OA), militärisch meist für Offiziersanwärter, ist ein Anwärter auf den Offiziersrang beim Militär. Je nach Staat haben Offizieranwärter einen unterschiedlichen Status. Επίσης, κατ' εξαίρεση μπορούν να φτάσουν και ως τον βαθμό του εφέδρου Ταγματάρχη, μετά από συνεργασία ή δωρεά στον Ελληνικό Στρατό. Οι έφεδροι Αξιωματικοί μπορούν να κληθούν για μετεκπαίδευση ή επιστράτευση έως την ηλικία των 52 (για Εφ. Ανθυπολοχαγούς) και των 54 (για Εφ. Λοχαγούς). Στους αγγλόφωνους στρατούς ο αντίστοιχος βαθμός καλείται Officer Candidate, Officer Aspirant και Non-Regular Officer Designate στο NATO.
