Octave One est un groupe de musique techno américain composé de Lenny et Lawrence Burden, parfois associés à leurs trois autres frères, Lorne, Lynell et Lance. Ils ont créé au début des années 1990 le label 430 West qui est à l'origine de la seconde vague de la techno de Détroit. Ils font de nombreuses tournées en tant que DJ ou musiciens en live. Principalement connus pour leurs morceaux techno, les frères Burden ont également produit de nombreux disques de deep house et de garage sous d'autres pseudonymes, notamment Random Noise Generation, Metro D (avec Terrell Langston) ou Never On Sunday.

It peaked at #47 (February 2002) and #69 (September 2002) in the UK Singles Chart. Octave One tour the world as live electronic musicians. They are included in the second generation of Detroit Techno artists. Mainly known for their techno recordings, the Burden brothers have also produced many recordings of house music and other electronic genres using other pseudonyms, in particular Random Noise Generation, Metro D (with Terrell Langston) and Never On Sunday.
