De OMX Iceland 15 is de nationale aandelenindex van IJsland. De index is in 1988 van start gegaan met een startwaarde van 1000 punten en het bevat maximaal vijftien beursfondsen. Op 25 oktober 2008 bevat de index slechts elf aandelen, door de nationalisatie van Landsbanki and Glitnir. De index is na de implosie van de IJslandse financiële instellingen volkomen ingestort. Seit der Fusion der ICEX mit der Wertpapierbörse OMX am 30. November 2006 wurde der ICEX 15 von der OMX unter den gleichen Bedingungen unter dem Namen OMX Iceland 15 fortgeführt. Während der Finanzkrise litt OMX Iceland 15 im Jahr 2008 unter einem großen Verlust. Am 14. Oktober 2008 brach der Index um mehr als 70 % (−2.300 Punkte) auf ein Rekordtief von 630 Punkten ein. Im Jahr 2009 wurde die Aktualisierung des OMX Iceland 15 abgekündigt. Heute dient der OMX Iceland 8-Index als der größte Vergleichsindex des Landes.

Over the year 2008 and over the entire decade 1998–2008 the OMX Iceland 15 was the worst performing stock index in the world, being heavily affected by the 2008 Icelandic financial crisis which saw a number of index constituents become insolvent, be nationalised or opt to delist from the exchange. The index was discontinued in July 2009 and replaced by the OMX Iceland 6 as the exchange's benchmark stock index, which had run concurrently for the previous six months.
