Norway House ist eine Ansiedlung mit rund 5.400 Einwohnern ca. 30 km nördlich des Winnipegsees am Ufer des östlichen Kanals des Nelson River in der kanadischen Provinz Manitoba. Die Siedlung liegt in der Census Division No. 22, welche zur Northern Region gehört. Zu Norway House gehört auch ein Indianer-Reservat der First Nations vom Volk der „Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation“, weshalb der Gemeinde sowohl ein Bürgermeister als auch ein Stammesführer vorstehen. The population centre shares the name Norway House with the northern community of Norway House and Norway House 17, a First Nation reserve of the Norway House Cree Nation (Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation). Thus, Norway House has both a Chief and a Mayor.

To drive from Winnipeg, it is approximately 800 km (500 mi); from Thompson, it is about 300 km (190 mi). Major economic activities include commercial fishing, trapping, logging, and government services. Seasonal unemployment varies, with peaks as high as 70%. Norway House was an important establishment of the Hudson's Bay Company for most of the 19th century, serving as a major depot, and from the 1830s, as the seat of the Council of the Northern Department of Rupert's Land.

Nazwa pochodzi od drwala norweskiego pochodzenia, który miał utworzyć lądowy szlak komunikacyjny pomiędzy osadą a . Do lat 70. XIX wieku znaczenie handlowe Norway House jako punktu handlowego upadło. Originalmente a comunidade foi fundada como um posto de comércio de peles pela Companhia da Baía de Hudson no final do século XVIII, seguindo a fundação de um posto próximo a Warren's Landing na foz do rio Nelson. Recebeu esse nome devido a um grupo de trabalhadores noruegueses contratados para construir um posto de comércio e abrir uma estrada para a York Factory no final da década de 1790.
