He is best known for his biography of the poet Bhanubhakta Acharya, first published in 1960. He was a grand nephew of Bhanubhakta Acharya. His biography of pioneer poet Bhanubhakta is the second most important after the one by Motiram Bhatta (1866-1896) the first biographer of Bhanubhakta.
