The service aims to help reward Nigerian artists for their creative work and reduce piracy. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has been reported to be in talks with stakeholders to propose a digital copyright piracy bill to the 8th National Assembly of Nigeria. The bill, called the Nigerian Copyright Act, will impose strict sanctions on digital copyright offenders while aiming to give content owners what is rightfully theirs.
