On Independence Day 2013, he was awarded a Certificate of Honour by the president of India, for contribution to Sanskrit. Prof. Tripathi also served as Vice Chancellor in Maharshi Panini Sanskrit University, Ujjain providing Quality Education in Mythological fields.
