Michel Yachvili, né en 1946 à Tulle, est un joueur de rugby international français, surnommé « Yach » et « le Russe », évoluant au poste de talonneur ou de troisième ligne aile (1,78 m, 85 kg). Il joue au SC Tulle de 1964 à 1970, puis au CA Brive de 1970 à 1979. Il fait ses débuts internationaux dans le Tournoi des cinq nations 1968, année où l'équipe de France réalise le premier Grand Chelem de son histoire. Sa carrière internationale prend fin en 1975.

His father was a Georgian POW during the World War II in France, and his son Grégoire chose to play for the Georgian national team. He began his career playing as Hooker for . He was a part of the French national team which won the 1968 Grand Slam in the Five Nations. In 1970 he moved to CA Brive where he played flanker. Yachvili's son, Dimitri Yachvili, is also a France rugby union international.
