Meridionali/Agusta EMA 124 byl prototyp lehkého víceúčelového vrtulníku vzniklý v roce 1970 v Itálii. Vznikl jako společný projekt společností a založený na typu Bell 47, který v té době Agusta vyráběla v licenci. Prototyp EMA 124 si z typu Bell 47 zachoval dynamické komponenty, trubkovou konstrukci ocasního nosníku a ližinový podvozek, ale byl vybaven nově aerodynamištěji tvarovanou přední částí trupu s pro tři osoby. The design was undertaken by Agusta for production in a joint venture with Elicotteri Meridionali, based on the Bell 47 that Agusta was building under licence at the time. The EMA 124 retained the Bell 47's dynamic components, tubular tail, and undercarriage, but was fitted with a new, more aerodynamic forward fuselage with a cabin to seat three.
