Matas Maldeikis (born 1980) is a Lithuanian politician.Matas Maldeikis' father Eugenijus Maldeikis and mother Aušra Maldeikienė have both served on the Seimas. He was elected to the Seimas for the first time in 2020, via the Homeland Union party list. While serving on the Seimas, Maldeikis chaired the Lithuanian Parliamentary Group for Relations with Taiwan. Maldeikis was invited to visit Taiwan by Legislative Yuan member Chiu Chih-wei in August 2021. He subsequently led a delegation of ten lawmakers from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to visit Taiwan that November. During the visit, Maldeikis stated that "preserving freedom and the rules-based international order is of vital interest for both Lithuania and Taiwan."
