Magdi Khalil is an Egyptian Coptic political analyst, researcher, author and executive editor of the Egyptian weekly Watani International. He is a frequent guest on Al Jazeera Arabic's political debate program "The Opposite Direction" (الاتجاه المعاكس pronounced Al Ittijah al Mu'akes).
