Lyd is a narrow gauge steam locomotive built by the Ffestiniog Railway in their Boston Lodge shops over a period of 15 years. Lyd is based on the design of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway Locomotive E188 Lew which was built by Manning Wardle in 1925 for the Southern Railway, who owned the line at the time. rdf:langString
