Louis Stanislaus Slevin, (November 7, 1878 – November 9, 1945), also known as L. S. Slevin, was an American photographer, known for his black-and-white images of the Monterey Peninsula. He was a pioneer in the early days of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, the first to open a general merchandise store in 1905, the first postmaster, first express agent, and first city treasurer.
