Jane Roland Martin (born July 20, 1929) is an American philosopher known for her work on education. She is Professor Emerita of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She has published a number of works relating to issues of gender in education. In 1987, she received a Guggenheim Award for her work. She contributed the piece "Climbing the Ivory Walls: Women in Academia" to the 2003 anthology Sisterhood Is Forever: The Women's Anthology for a New Millennium, edited by Robin Morgan. rdf:langString
