Ernest Gwyn Richards (22 December 1905 – 17 December 1985) was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for Wales, and at club level for Bryncethin RFC, Bridgend RFC, Cardiff RFC and Torquay Athletic RFC, as a fly-half, i.e. number 10, and club level rugby league (RL) for Huddersfield, and Leigh (Heritage № 445), as a stand-off, i.e. number 6.
