Franz Voves (* 28. Februar 1953 in Graz, Steiermark) ist ein österreichischer Politiker (SPÖ) und war vom 25. Oktober 2005 bis 16. Juni 2015 Landeshauptmann der Steiermark. Er ist ehemaliger Eishockey-Nationalteamspieler sowie von 2002 bis 2015 Landesparteivorsitzender der SPÖ Steiermark. Von 2002 bis 2005 war er Landeshauptmann-Stellvertreter.

From 25 October 2005 to 16 June 2015 he has been governor of Styria (Landeshauptmann der Steiermark). He was vice-governor of Styria from 12 March 2002 till 24 October 2005. On 2 March 2002 he was elected as the chairman of the SPÖ Styria (Steiermark).
