Fernand Gentin (27 September 1876 – 24 April 1946) was a French printer and Radical politician who was a deputy from 1932 to 1942. He was Minister of PTT and then Minister of Health in 1938, and Minister of Commerce from 1938 to 1940.In the period before World War II (1939–45) began he first opposed and then supported letting refugees from Nazi Germany work freely in France.In the early part of the war he promoted continued production of luxury goods to earn money for import of armaments.After the defeat of France, he collaborated with the German occupiers as administrator and political director of a newspaper.He was banned from public office after the Liberation of France. rdf:langString
