Η Ευρωπαϊκή Αστρονομική Εταιρεία (European Astronomical Society: EAS) είναι μια επιστημονική εταιρεία, που ιδρύθηκε το 1990 βάσει του Ελβετικού Αστικού Κώδικα, ως ένωση με σκοπό να συμβάλλει και προωθεί την πρόοδο της αστρονομίας στην Ευρώπη και να ασχολείται με αστρονομικά θέματα σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Μέλη της είναι επαγγελματίες αστρονόμοι. Όλοι οι Ευρωπαίοι αστρονόμοι μπορούν να είναι μέλη ανεξάρτητα από τον τομέα εργασίας ή τη χώρα εργασίας ή καταγωγής τους. Η Εταιρεία προσφέρει ένα φόρουμ συζήτησης για όλες τις πτυχές της επιστημονικής ανάπτυξης της αστρονομίας στην Ευρώπη και είναι ο οργανισμός που εκπροσωπεί τα συμφέροντα των αστρονόμων σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο.
