Roy Edward Conroy (October 21, 1946 – June 26, 2020) was a Canadian politician, who was MLA for Rossland-Trail in the Canadian province of British Columbia from 1991 to 2001. He was a member of the British Columbia New Democratic Party. Conroy was born in Rossland, British Columbia and raised in Castlegar. He was educated in Castlegar and at the University of Victoria. Before entering politics, Conroy worked on a towboat. He also raised purebred cattle. He was defeated by Sandy Santori when he ran for reelection to the provincial assembly in 2001.

Before entering politics, Conroy worked on a towboat. He also raised purebred cattle. He was defeated by Sandy Santori when he ran for reelection to the provincial assembly in 2001. His wife, Katrine Conroy is the current MLA for the redistributed district of Kootenay West. She currently serves in the provincial cabinet of Premier John Horgan. He died at the age of 73 on June 26, 2020, from complications from surgery after sustaining a broken hip.
