Maryland Dykes Potter (November 18, 1910 – February 27, 2002), was a professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues in two games for the 1938 Brooklyn Dodgers. Potter made his Major League debut on April 26, 1938, pitching a scoreless eighth inning in the Dodgers' 1–4 loss to the Boston Bees. His finale came 6 days later on May 2, where he surrendered an inside-the-park home run to the first batter he faced, Jo-Jo Moore, in his only inning of work as the New York Giants won 7–4.
