Detachment Hotel (also known as "the Kennedy Bunker") is the name used to refer to a small 1,500-square-foot (140 m2) bunker complex on Peanut Island, Florida. It was originally designed for use by the President of the United States, specifically John F. Kennedy, in the event of a nuclear war.
