접착치과학(adhesive dentistry)은 치질(법랑질, 상아질)과의 접착기술에 근거한 수복학의 한 분야이다. 수복물의 유지를 위해 불가피하게 치질을 삭제하였던 과거의 문제를 접착기술의 놀라운 발전으로 인해 삭제를 최소함으로써 치질을 최대한 보존할 수 있게 되었다. 복합레진과 도재, 글래스아이오노머시멘트 등은 심미수복과 접착수복에 모두 해당되기 때문에 심미접착치과학(esthetic adhesive dentistry)이라는 이름으로 통용되고 있다.

Bonding is een tandheelkundig proces waarbij de tand of kies wordt voorbereid op het plaatsen van een (plastische) of in de volksmond een witte vulling.Na het weghalen van cariës wordt de caviteit, het 'gaatje', voorbereid op het aanbrengen van de bonding.
* De oppervlaktes moeten schoon zijn, dus vrij van bloed en geïnfecteerd dentine.
* Het te behandelen oppervlak moet bij de meeste bondingsystemen droog worden gehouden, maar ook niet té droog. Bloed en speeksel zijn funest voor een goede hechting, omdat eiwitten een goede penetratie van de kunststof hars belemmeren.

طب الأسنان اللاصق (بالإنجليزية: Adhesive dentistry) هو فرع من طب الأسنان يتعامل مع الربط أو اللصق لمادة الأسنان الطبيعية، الميناو العاج. هذا النوع يدرس طبيعة وقوة الالتصاق بالأنسجة الصلبة السنية، خصائص المواد اللاصقة، أسباب فشل الاتصاق والمواد الرابطة، التقنية الإكلينيكية للربط وأحدث التطبيقات للارتباط مثل الارتباط بالأنسجة الرخوة. هناك أيضاً ربط الراتين المركب المباشر والذي يستخدم مادة الراتين المركب الملون بلون الأسنان لإصلاح تلف الأسنان مثل الصدوع أو الفجوات. الربط السني هي عملية يقوم طبيب الأسنان فيها بوضع مادة الراتين الملونة بلون الأسنان (مادة لدينة ذات متانة عالية) ويتصلب باستخدام ضوء مرئي أزرق. هذا في النهاية يربط المادة بالسن ويحسن المظهر العام للأسنان. تقنية ربط الأسنان لها تطبيقات إكلينيكية مختلفة تتضمن طب الأسنان العلاجي وطب الأسنان الوقائي وأيضاً تجميل الأسنان، طب أسنان الأطفال، التعويضات السنية وتقويم الأسنان.
