David L. Gilmore (October 28, 1944 – September 29, 2004) was a former judge of the Courts of Common Pleas in Washington County, Pennsylvania. He was born on October 28, 1944 in Washington, Pennsylvania. He attended Trinity High School, where he was in student government and a member of the wrestling team. He attended California University of Pennsylvania, where he was also in student government. He graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1970, where he was on the Duquesne Law Review. He was assistant District Attorney from 1971 to 1972. He was appointed assistant County Solicitor in 1973. He was named County Solicitor in 1975. In 1976, he was named interim county commissioner of Washington County. He was elected to a term in his own right in 1979. During his time as commissioner, he helped consolidate county government into the Court House Square project and helped develop Southpointe. In 1983, he was elected judge of the Courts of Common Pleas in Washington County. He was named President Judge on January 1, 2003. He died in 2004.
