Isidor "Bud" Barsky (June 19, 1891 – December 18, 1967) was a screenwriter and film producer active mainly during the silent era. Born in Ukraine in what was then part of the Russian Empire, he emigrated to the United States as a young man and grew up in New York. At age 15, he toured Alaska's gold fields with a musical troupe. During the First World War, he served in the Signal Corps. He founded the eponymous Bud Barsky Corporation in 1924, which concentrated mainly on action and western films. He also directed one film, The Coast Patrol, in 1925. In the 1930s he was the general manager of Columbia Pictures, and he was a producer at MGM, Warner Bros., and Grand National.
